The opening also features the book launch of mE Uncertain English Dictionary (image above) published by Preacher’s Biscuit Books of Rochester, NY.   Other artists’ books by PBB will also be available for viewing.

mE is dedicated to providing quality products that support parent groups, teachers and community organizations in their efforts to give our children the best possible tools and resources to build a positive learning environment.  Our innovative products introduce a new approach of time, space and self awareness to our children to be prepared for the ever complex future to come.  It’s been our constant challenge to abandon the traditional idea of time from our daily consciousness and to produce educational materials more relative to our present surroundings.  Time was considered to be absolute and evenly spread.  This is a very trusting way of perceiving our environment.  We tend to think things will get better and more efficient as time passes.  The last century’s industrial revolutions, scientific discoveries and technological developments all benefited from this trust.  Is it truly compatible to how we want to live?  mE, like many of our customers realize that it is not always true.  We began to notice the solutions we were taught don’t quite suit to the problems we encounter today.  This realization became a center motivation of our company and we started to produce innovative educational products of our time.    

 

Every product we offer is designed by mE design staff whom are well experienced in the educational design field and hand produced by our skilled craft workers.  Since each product takes quite a long time to be produced, we are offering small editions varying 1-100.
